Job summary

Iris Software is seeking an experienced SDET to strengthen our automation-focused team in India. You will design and implement Java automation frameworks, automate backend systems, and work across REST APIs in an Agile environment.

With 6-8 years of experience, you will contribute to QA/QE practices, leverage tools like Selenium, REST Assured, QTest and JIRA, and collaborate with DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in SDET, Java automation and software automation testing.
• Experience building Java automation frameworks and coding in Java.
• Exposure to API-based testing with REST Assured.
• Strong SQL skills for backend data validation.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps delivery models.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms is a plus.
• Experience with QA/QE automation tools (Selenium, JIRA, QTest).

Responsibilities

• Design and build Java automation frameworks and maintain test suites.
• Automate backend and legacy systems, including service interfaces and batch processes.
• Work within Agile and DevOps delivery models to ship reliable software.
• Implement API-based testing using REST Assured and validate data with SQL.
• Contribute to QA/QE practices and framework creation for testing.

Job Description

• 6-8 years of experience in SDET, Java automation and strong Software Automation Testing mindset.
• Domain-specific engineers with experience in Cards area
• Strong hands-on experience designing and building Java automation frameworks.
• Strong coding in JAVA and coding standards and design principles
• Exposure to API based framework using REST assured.
• Experience automating backend and legacy systems, including service interfaces and batch processes.
