Job summary

Iris Software Inc. is hiring a Senior SDET to define and drive enterprise-level Python-based automation strategies, aligning with quality engineering vision and digital transformation goals.

You will establish governance, reusable frameworks, and best practices for SDET teams, lead cross-functional groups, and push automation-first testing with AI/ML innovations to improve release quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA automation and SDET roles.
• Strong Python development and automation skills.
• Proficiency with REST APIs testing and automation tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build processes.
• Knowledge of Oracle DB and SQL for data validation.
• Experience with QA tools like JIRA and test management.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive enterprise-level Python-based automation strategy aligned with QA vision.
• Establish governance, standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices for SDET teams.
• Drive automation-first and shift-left testing practices for early defect detection.
• Lead cross-functional teams delivering scalable automation across systems.
• Define and monitor KPIs such as automation coverage and release quality.
• Drive innovation in test automation, including AI/ML-based testing and analytics.
• Provide mentorship and leadership fostering engineering excellence.

• Define, monitor, and improve KPIs such as automation coverage, defect leakage, test effectiveness, and release quality metrics.
• Drive innovation in test automation including AI/ML-based testing, self-healing frameworks, and intelligent test analytics.
