Job summary

Iris Software, Inc. in India seeks a Program Manager for Quality Engineering with 15+ years in QE, automation and manual testing. You will lead large, distributed QE programs across BFSI, owning test strategy and governance.

You will mentor SDETs and QE engineers, drive automation-first initiatives, coordinate onshore-offshore delivery, and partner with data engineering to improve quality, timelines and ROI. Join a fast-growing IT services leader.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Quality Engineering experience with automation and manual testing.
• Experience leading large, distributed QE programs in BFSI domain.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale Quality Engineering initiatives within BFSI.
• Scale QE organizations with onshore-offshore delivery.
• Own test strategy, planning, and execution for data pipelines and analytics.
• Manage QE teams: resource allocation, coordination, delivery governance.
• Drive process improvements for quality, cost and timelines.
• Governance and stakeholder management including executive communication.
• Support proposals and client pursuits by defining QE strategy and governance.
• Collaborate with development and data engineering on defect resolution.
• Provide accurate testing estimations and quality reporting.
• Lead SDETs, QE engineers, and testers; promote automation-first culture.
• Drive continuous improvement via metrics and RCA.
• Support proposals by articulating maturity, roadmap, KPIs, ROI.

Job Description

Experience:

15+ years of Quality Engineering experience with strong exposure to automation and manual testing, managing large-scale QE programs.

Responsibilities

• We are looking for a Program Manager Quality Engineering with 15+ years of experience to lead large-scale Quality Engineering initiatives within the BFSI domain.
• Demonstrated experience leading and scaling large, geographically distributed QE organizations with a balanced onshore-offshore delivery model
• Own test strategy, test planning, and execution for data pipelines and analytics platforms.
• Manage QE teams, including resource allocation, coordination, and delivery governance.
• Drive process improvements to optimize quality, cost, and timelines.
• Strong governance and stakeholder management experience, including executive communication and client engagement.
• Support RFPs, RFIs, and client pursuits by defining QE strategy, operating model, governance framework, team construct, and value proposition.
• Collaborate closely with development and data engineering teams on defect resolution.
• Provide accurate testing estimations and quality reporting.
• Lead a team of SDETs, QE engineers, and manual testers; foster a culture of quality, reusability, and automation-first
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives via test metrics, RCA, defect leakage trends, and QE process optimization
• Support proposal, RFP, and stakeholder presentations by articulating QE capability maturity, roadmap, and measurable outcomes (KPIs, ROI, coverage)
• Required Skills
• Experience working in BFSI/Wealth/Capital Markets domain; prior exposure to Enterprise Risk platforms, data governance, or regulatory workflows is a strong plus
• Exposure to AI/ML/GenAI tools in testing & QE is a strong plus
• Proven ability to mentor and scale QE teams, establish best practices, and manage client expectations
• Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement across BAs, Product Owners, Architects, and Delivery Leads
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
