Job summary

Apexon Technology in India is seeking an SDET to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for API and microservices-based applications. You will perform functional, integration, and regression testing across services and collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.

You should be proficient in Core Java (Java 8+), with hands-on experience in RESTful API testing, POJO data modeling, and serialization/deserialization.

Qualifications

• Experience in API testing for RESTful services in a microservices architecture.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and POJO data modeling.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for API and microservices?based applications.


• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing across services.


• Develop and enhance test frameworks using Core Java.


• Create and manage POJO classes for request/response handling and test data modeling.


• Implement effective validation using serialization and deserialization mechanisms.


• Collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.


• Participate in defect reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical Skills & Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Core Java.


• Good hands?on knowledge of Java 8+ features, especially: Lambda expressions


• Functional interfaces such as Supplier, Predicate, and related usage


• Experience in API testing (RESTful services) in a microservices architecture.


• Solid understanding and usage of POJO class creation for test automation.


• Experience with serialization and deserialization (JSON/XML handling).


• Familiarity with testing tools, frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
