Job summary

Whereuelevate is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in delivering high-quality software solutions in Gurgaon, India. The role involves facilitating Scrum ceremonies, ensuring adherence to Agile principles, and enabling high-performing teams through effective coaching and collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in this field, solid knowledge of Agile frameworks, and strong leadership skills. Familiarity with Agile project management tools like Jira and Confluence is essential to support team success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
• Proven ability to identify and remove impediments while enabling high-performing Agile teams.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove team impediments, foster collaboration, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring adherence to Agile best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives).
• Ensure adherence to Agile principles and best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a clear and prioritized product backlog.
• Track and communicate team progress using agile metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.).
• Identify and remove impediments to the team’s progress.
• Coach team members on Agile and Scrum practice to promote self-organization.
• Foster collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience as a Scrum Master.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and leadership skills.
• Experience using Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
• Proven ability to identify and remove impediments while enabling high‑performing Agile teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the Insurance domain.
• Scrum Master certification, such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or an equivalent certification.
