Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Research for potential vendors and finalize contracts.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms.
• Ensure timely release of purchase orders to vendors.
• Track orders and ensure timely deliveries.
• Ensure that the project material costs align with quotes.
• Scout for cost reduction opportunities.
• Monitor vendor performance through audits.
• Maintain updated records of purchased products.
• Circulate purchase reports, including cost analysis.

Job description

The ideal candidate is responsible for developing and implementing a supply strategy that delivers the lowest total cost, reduces inventory, and maximizes customer satisfaction through world class service. Sourcing from right suppliers at right price with best quality Build strong relationships with our factories and suppliers, ensuring a continuous long-term partnership. Ensure timely release of purchase orders, adjust purchase patterns, and monitor shipment and production schedules to meet product deliveries. Evaluate vendor’s performance to ensure lowest cost, highest quality, and timely deliveries.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Research for potential vendors and finalization
• Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
• Ensure timely release of purchase orders to vendors.
• Track orders and ensuring timely delivery.
• Ensure that the project material costs are in line with quotation.
• Scout for cost reduction opportunities
• Vendor performance monitoring and rating through Audits
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
• Circulate reports on purchases, including cost analysis as per KPIs.
• Ensure inventory control including inventory turns ratio, inventory aging, stock accuracy and place necessary orders.
• Coordinate with stores staff to ensure proper storage.
• Ensure incoming and outgoing global logistics requirements are met.
• Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up to date with industry trends.

QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree/ MBA
• Min. 3-year experience as SCM Engineer/ Manager in Electronics/ Electrical Manufacturing Industry leading SCM
