Role Description

We are looking for an Operations Executive to support our Process Unit (PU) operations. The role will primarily focus on managing inward and outward material movement, coordinating logistics activities, ensuring timely vehicle placement, and supporting smooth day-to-day plant operations. The individual will work closely with transporters, vendors, and internal teams to improve operational efficiency, reduce cycle times, optimize costs, and maintain accurate operational data through regular tracking and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate closely with vendors and transporters to ensure smooth movement of materials and products across the supply chain. Maintain regular communication to address operational issues, align on delivery schedules, and ensure service quality standards are met.
• Delivery Tracking & Timeliness Focus: Monitor shipments from dispatch to delivery and proactively track transit status to ensure on-time execution. Identify potential delays, coordinate with stakeholders, and take corrective actions to minimize disruptions and maintain delivery commitments.
• Data Tracking & Reporting Skills: Maintain accurate logistics records and analyze transportation data to monitor operational performance. Prepare regular MIS reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support decision-making and continuous process improvement.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new transport partners to strengthen the logistics network and improve service coverage. Conduct due diligence on transporter capabilities, pricing, and compliance requirements while ensuring seamless integration into operations.
• Logistics Cost Optimization: Drive initiatives to reduce transportation and logistics costs without compromising service levels. Analyze freight expenses, negotiate rates with transporters, and identify opportunities for route optimization and operational efficiency improvements.

• 2-4 years in an operation/logistics/supply chain
• Prior experience in vehicle logistics, truck management, new transporter onboarding
• Strong Communication Skills & cross team collaboration: Ability to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
• Ownership from dispatch to delivery
• This role would need availability beyond working hours
