Role & Responsibilities

• Manage hospital supply chain, procurement, stores, and inventory operations.
• Ensure timely availability of medicines, consumables, implants, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinate with pharmacy, purchase, stores, finance, nursing, OT, ICU, and administration teams.
• Monitor stock levels, reorder points, consumption trends, expiry, and slow-moving items.
• Supervise material receiving, storage, issue, return, and stock transfer processes.
• Implement FIFO and FEFO practices for safe inventory management.
• Manage vendor coordination, quotation comparison, negotiation, and purchase follow-up.
• Review purchase orders, delivery challans, invoices, GRN, and stock documentation.
• Conduct physical stock verification and support internal or external audits.
• Prepare inventory reports, consumption MIS, purchase reports, and cost-control analysis.
• Identify stock leakage, wastage, excess inventory, or shortage risks.
• Ensure compliance with hospital pharmacy, purchase, and supply chain policies.
• Guide SCM team members and monitor department performance.
• Maintain confidentiality of hospital purchase and vendor information.
• Ensure efficient, cost-effective, and compliant supply chain management.
