Job Description

An OP Incharge - SCM is responsible for coordinating outpatient procurement and supply-chain requirements to ensure timely availability of medicines, consumables, and other materials required for smooth OPD operations. The includes inventory coordination, purchase follow-up, vendor coordination, documentation, and communication with pharmacy, stores, finance, and clinical departments.

• Coordinate supply-chain activities related to OPD operations.
• Monitor availability of medicines, consumables, and required OPD materials.
• Review material requirements and coordinate purchase requests.
• Coordinate with pharmacy and stores for stock availability.
• Follow up with purchase and vendors for pending requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and identify shortages or critical requirements.
• Verify received materials against purchase orders and documents.
• Monitor batch numbers, expiry dates, and stock movement where applicable.
• Maintain proper records of material receipts, issues, and transfers.
• Coordinate with finance regarding purchase documentation and invoices.
• Monitor consumption patterns and support replenishment planning.
• Identify stock discrepancies and coordinate corrective action.
• Coordinate with OPD, nursing, pharmacy, and administrative teams.
• Maintain SCM reports and inventory records.
• Support vendor coordination and delivery follow-ups.
