Job summary

GVK Emergency Management and Research Institute (GVK EMRI) seeks a SCM Executive to handle day-to-day procurement of materials, spare parts, medical consumables, IT equipment and fleet items in Jaipur.

You will coordinate with vendors for quotations, purchase orders and deliveries, maintain procurement data in ERP and MS Excel, and prepare MIS reports to support cost-saving initiatives and audits.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in mechanical or automobile preferred; MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain/Procurement beneficial.
• 2-5 years of experience in procurement/purchase/SCM.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong vendor coordination, negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Good communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day procurement of materials, spare parts, medical consumables, IT equipment and fleet-related items.
• Coordinate with vendors for quotations, purchase orders, delivery and follow-ups.
• Prepare comparative statements, purchase orders and other procurement documents.
• Ensure timely availability of materials as per operational requirements.
• Maintain vendor records, purchase data and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors for quality issues, replacements and pending deliveries.
• Monitor inventory and stock levels and coordinate with stores/warehouse teams.
• Process and follow up on vendor bills and payments.
• Maintain procurement and inventory records in ERP, Oracle and MS Excel.
• Prepare MIS reports related to purchases, pending orders, inventory and vendors.
• Support vendor evaluation, cost-saving initiatives and direct procurement from OEMs.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and support audits.
