Job summary

JJG Aero is seeking a procurement and vendor management professional to secure aerospace materials and manage supplier relations in Bengaluru. You will negotiate POs, monitor inventories, and coordinate with Production, Quality, and Finance to ensure on-time delivery and cost control.

The role requires experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing, knowledge of AS9100 standards, and a BE/B.Tech or Diploma with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Establish and maintain relationships with approved vendors.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize POs.
• Identify and develop new vendors as per company needs.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Job description

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Source and procure raw materials, aerospace components, and consumables.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with approved vendors.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize purchase orders.
• Identify and develop new vendors as per company requirements.

Production Planning & Material Control

• Ensure timely availability of materials to support production schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and stores teams.

Purchase Order & Documentation

• Create and manage Purchase Orders (PO).
• Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.
• Maintain procurement records and documentation.

Cost Control & Optimization

• Identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyze material costs and vendor performance.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with internal departments like Production, Quality, and Finance.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards.

Preferred Skills

• Aerospace manufacturing experience

Qualification
