Job summary

Smile Foundation seeks a Scholarship Facilitator in Mumbai to implement and manage the CSR-funded scholarship program, engage with girl scholars, and maintain transparent communication with donors.

The role involves coordinating with colleges, identifying eligible students, mentoring scholars, and supporting MIS and events while ensuring timely reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Post Graduate in any field. Preferably engineering or from MSW.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in foundations/development organization/colleges or relevant sectors.
• Experience in scholarship management would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Implement and coordinate the scholarship project for selected students as per the Project Implementation plan and the timeline.
• Identification colleges for promotion of scholarships program in those colleges and identification of eligible students for scholarship
• Acts as liaison between faculty/staff, scholars to provide information and resources regarding scholarship activities and programme.
• Regular mentoring and monitoring the progress of scholars
• Supports in planning and conducting training programme involving external trainers
• Identify companies for internship and placement for scholars. Create formal partnerships with companies to organise exposure visits, training, internship and placement.
• Assists in operations and database management procedures and coordinates design and maintenance of scholarship MIS.
• Coordination of special events such as exposure visit, scholar meet and other events as planned.
• Periodic activity and financial planning and reporting as per the calendar.
• Any other assignments in similar projects.

Role Purpose:
