RenewX Infratech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a technically strong SCADA Engineer to manage SCADA, communication, monitoring and plant-control systems for Solar PV projects.

The role covers system engineering, equipment integration, installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and O&M support. The candidate will review SLDs, ensure proper SCADA architecture, configure data points and alarms, and coordinate with vendors for field deployment and site testing across ground-mounted and rooftop

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience preferred in Solar SCADA / Industrial Automation.

About the Role

RenewX Infratech Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a technically strong SCADA Engineer to manage SCADA, communication, monitoring and plant-control systems for Solar PV projects. The role involves system engineering, equipment integration, installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and O&M support.

Key Responsibilities

• SCADA Engineering: Review SLDs, SCADA architecture, communication architecture, BOQ/BOM and equipment communication mapping.
• Equipment Integration: Integrate and monitor inverters, energy meters, transformers, HT/LT panels, protection relays, weather stations, data loggers, PPC and auxiliary systems.
• Communication Systems: Configure and troubleshoot RS485, Modbus RTU/TCP, Ethernet, TCP/IP, Fiber Optic, network switches and media converters.
• SCADA Configuration: Configure data points, alarms, events, dashboards, data logging, reports and real-time/historical monitoring.
• PPC & Plant Control: Support Active/Reactive Power, Power Factor, Voltage, Ramp-Rate and Grid Set-Point control for applicable projects.
• Installation & Commissioning: Supervise SCADA panels, servers, networks, data loggers, weather stations and communication systems; perform point-to-point and data validation testing.
• O&M & Troubleshooting: Resolve SCADA, inverter, meter, network, fiber, weather station, server and PPC communication issues and conduct RCA for recurring faults.
• Remote Monitoring & Cybersecurity: Maintain secure remote access, backups, user controls and SCADA configuration records.
• Vendor & Client Coordination: Coordinate with SCADA, inverter, PPC, meter, weather station, networking OEMs, clients and project/O&M teams for timely issue resolution.
• Documentation: Maintain SCADA architecture, network diagrams, IP schedules, Modbus mappings, point lists, alarm lists, test reports, backups, as-built drawings and handover documents.

• Strong understanding of solar plant communication architecture and commissioning.
• Good vendor/client coordination and documentation skills.
• Willing to travel to project sites for installation, commissioning and critical fault resolution.
