Job summary

3M India Limited is seeking a mid-level SAP Test Automation Engineer to lead the creation, maintenance and execution of automated SAP tests using Tricentis Tosca and DEX. The role focuses on scalable, reusable codeless automation across SAP SD, MM, OTC, and MTD processes, with collaboration across business stakeholders and developers.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of SAP testing experience, strong analytical skills, and hands-on work with Tosca tools and Jira for defect tracking and test

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years in SAP testing or enterprise app testing.
• Experience with Tosca, Tosca DEX for automated SAP testing.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance, and execution of SAP test automation scripts using Tosca.
• Implement automated testing for SAP apps including regression and end-to-end validation.
• Define automation approaches, test coverage, and defect analysis to improve SAP testing efficiency and quality.

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

• Leads the development, maintenance, and execution of SAP test automation scripts using Tricentis Tosca, with a focus on scalable, reusable, codeless automation solutions.
• Implements automated testing for SAP applications, including regression testing, unit testing, smoke testing, and end-to-end process validation across key business processes.
• Determines appropriate automation approaches, test coverage, test execution strategies, and defect analysis methods to improve SAP testing efficiency, quality, and reliability.
• Supports hands-free and lights-out test execution using Tricentis DEX, including scheduling, monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting of automated test runs.
• Collaborates with SAP functional teams, business stakeholders, developers, and quality assurance teams to support test data needs, resolve defects, and improve automation outcomes across SAP areas such as SD, MM, OTC, and MTD

Your Skills and Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Systems, or a related discipline from an accredited institution, completed and verified prior to start.
• 2-5 years of experience in SAP testing, test automation, software quality assurance, or enterprise application testing in a private, public, government or military environment
• Experience developing, maintaining, and executing automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca or similar automation tools, including regression, unit, smoke, and defect validation testing for SAP or enterprise applications.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements, document test scenarios, execute test plans, and support issue resolution.
• Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: 2–5 years of experience with Tricentis Tosca and Tricentis DEX, including codeless automation, test execution, scheduling, and unattended testing.
• Experience with qTest, Jira, test data management, defect tracking, reporting, and SAP functional areas such as SD, MM, OTC, and MTD, with strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
