Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking a senior SAP SuccessFactors consultant specializing in Employee Central to lead EC configuration, data management, and security. You will design and implement core HR processes, build Business Rules and Workflows, and integrate EC with multiple SuccessFactors modules for global clients.

The role requires hands-on experience across EC projects, including data models, MDF Foundation Objects, and security frameworks, with strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in SAP SuccessFactors (SF) with focus on Employee Central (EC) and core HR processes.
• Hands-on config, implementation, support, enhancements and rollout projects for EC.
• Experience in configuring Business Rules, Workflows, MDF/Foundation Objects, Data Models, Security Roles, and RBPs.

Responsibilities

• Interact with business users and HR stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable SF EC solutions.
• Lead integration efforts between EC and other SF modules (Performance, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Compensation, Succession).
• Configure and validate ORD reporting and data migrations; ensure testing and deployment readiness.
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement for EC configurations and data management.

SAP SF

7-10 years of experience in SAP SuccessFactors (SF) with strong expertise in Employee Central (EC), Core HR Processes, Employee Data Management, Workflows, Business Rules, Security, Reporting, and Integrations.

Functional expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central is mandatory, including Business Rules, Workflows, MDF Objects, Foundation Objects, Position Management, Role-Based Permissions (RBP), Employee Lifecycle Management, Data Models, and HR Administration Processes.

• Strong hands-on experience in Employee Central configuration, implementation, support, enhancements, and rollout projects.
• Should have hands-on experience in configuring Business Rules, Workflows, MDF Objects, Foundation Objects, Employee Central Data Models, Picklists, and Security Roles.
• Experience in integrating Employee Central with other SuccessFactors modules, including Performance Goals, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Compensation, and Succession Development.
• Good understanding of other SuccessFactors modules and their end‑to‑end integration touchpoints with Employee Central.
• Should have experience in Role‑Based Permissions (RBP), Permission Groups, Target Populations, and Security Framework configuration.
• Strong understanding of Online Report Designer (ORD), Ad Hoc Reporting, People Analytics, and SuccessFactors Reporting capabilities.
• Experience in data migration, validation, testing, and deployment activities across SuccessFactors implementations.
• Good understanding of integration technologies for SAP SuccessFactors, including SAP CPI, BIB, APIs, OData Services, and middleware‑based integrations.
• Should have experience in requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, defect resolution, deployment, and post‑go‑live support activities.
• Should be able to independently interact with business users, HR stakeholders, and project teams to gather requirements and provide optimal solutions.
• Experience in support, enhancement, implementation, and rollout projects.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and recommend scalable SuccessFactors solutions aligned with customer needs.
• Expected to contribute to practice initiatives as well like solution development, knowledge management, pre‑sales support, effort estimation, and capability building.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience working with global clients and distributed delivery teams.
• Good communication and client‑facing skills.

Education

Graduate in Engineering, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Certification will be an added advantage.

MBA or Post Graduation will be an added advantage.
