Overview

We are looking for SAP SCP ABAP Consultant to be part of our dynamic team in India.

Your Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements (RICEFW), and forms (Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, SAP Script).
Develop and extend OData services and CDS views for consumption by Fiori applications and other external systems.
Utilize Object-Oriented ABAP (OOPS) principles for developing modular, reusable, and maintainable code.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization of existing and new ABAP developments.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices, particularly in ABAP on HANA, BTP, and the SAP RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), BTP.

Your Experience and Skills:

7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
Proven expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOPS) concepts and implementation.
Strong experience with SAP CDS views, including creation, extension, and consumption.
Solid understanding of SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI/CO) and their integration points.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in an Agile development environment.
Solid understanding of SAP SCM modules (e.g., DP, SNP, PP/DS/GATP) and their integration points.
Good understanding of SAP IBP.

Good to have:

Experience with OData service creation and consumption.
Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), specifically the ABAP Environment.
Experience with SAP Fiori/SAPUI5 development.
Knowledge of the SAP RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
