Job summary

Jobgether, listing on behalf of a partner company, seeks an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant based in India to contribute to S/4HANA implementations and digital transformation.

You will design, develop, and optimize ABAP RICEFW, CDS views, AMDP, and OData services, mentor teammates, and collaborate with MM/SD/FICO teams in an international setting.

Qualifications

• 4–15 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong technical expertise in ABAP, OOABAP, CDS views, AMDP, and OData services.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ABAP on HANA development.
• Experience integrating solutions across MM, SD, and FICO modules.
• Able to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Preferred: RAP, BTP, Fiori experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP RICEFW objects.
• Build and enhance CDS views, AMDP procedures, OData services, custom enhancements, and system integrations.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end technical solutions.
• Prepare technical specifications and design documents while following established development standards and best practices.
• Support SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, migrations, system conversions, and ongoing support activities.
• Develop and optimize solutions for performance, reliability, and maintainability across SAP environments.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor other developers, and strengthen team capabilities.
• Contribute to integration initiatives across SAP modules, including MM, SD, and FICO.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an SAP ABAP Consultant based in India.

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to contribute to SAP S/4HANA implementation and digital transformation projects. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize technical solutions that support complex business processes across multiple industries. You will work with modern SAP technologies, including ABAP on HANA, CDS views, AMDP, and OData services. Collaborating closely with functional teams, you will help deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performance solutions from design through deployment and ongoing support. You will also contribute to development standards, code quality, and technical documentation. Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP RICEFW objects to support business and technical requirements.

• Build and enhance CDS views, AMDP procedures, OData services, custom enhancements, and system integrations.

• Collaborate with functional consultants and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end technical solutions.

Requirements:

• 4–15 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience, including participation in multiple SAP implementation projects.

• Strong technical expertise in ABAP, Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP), CDS views, AMDP, and OData services.

• Solid experience with SAP S/4HANA and ABAP on HANA development.

• Practical knowledge of enhancements, Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, and performance optimization techniques.

• Experience integrating solutions across SAP modules such as Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Finance and Controlling (FICO).

• Familiarity with SAP migration and system conversion projects.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively alongside functional and technical stakeholders.

• Preferred: Experience with ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP Fiori.

• Preferred: Previous experience leading technical modules, coordinating development activities, or mentoring team members.
