Job summary

Westernacher Consulting GmbH is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant to lead design and development initiatives in S/4HANA programs. You will drive technical excellence by mentoring teams and ensuring high-quality solution delivery across various projects.

The ideal candidate has 7-15 years of experience in SAP ABAP, with strong skills in ABAP & OOABAP, CDS, and OData. The position offers a flexible working environment with competitive remuneration.

Qualifications

• Must have 7-15 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP with multiple implementation projects.
• Experience working across SAP modules (MM/SD/FICO etc.)

• Lead design and development of ABAP RICEFW objects.

• Prepare technical design documents and guide development standards.
• Drive quality delivery across implementation, rollout, and support phases.

Skills

Strong expertise in ABAP & OOABAP

Hands-on in CDS, AMDP, OData

Experience in Enhancements, Adobe/Smart Forms

Strong exposure to S/4HANA

Experience in migration/conversion projects

Job description

We are seeking Senior SAP ABAP Consultants to lead design and development initiatives in S/4HANA programs, driving technical excellence, mentoring teams, and ensuring high‑quality solution delivery.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of ABAP RICEFW objects
• Collaborate with functional teams to define and deliver technical solutions
• Prepare technical design documents and guide development standards
• Work on CDS views, OData services, enhancements, and integrations
• Drive quality delivery across implementation, rollout, and support phases
• Mentor junior developers and support code reviews

Your Experience and Skills

Must have 7-15 years of good hands‑on experience in SAP ABAP with multiple implementation projects.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in ABAP & OOABAP
• Hands‑on in CDS, AMDP, OData, and performance optimization
• Experience in Enhancements, Adobe/Smart Forms
• Strong exposure to S/4HANA and ABAP on HANA
• Experience working across SAP modules (MM/SD/FICO etc.)
• Experience in migration / conversion projects

Preferred

• Hands‑on experience in ABAP RAP
• Exposure to BTP / Fiori
• Experience in leading teams / technical modules
