Job summary

Astek in Bengaluru seeks an experienced SAP Solution Architect to lead design and implementation of SAP SD/ESD/LE, driving global Transportation Management design across ERP systems. You will partner with business and IT stakeholders, define requirements, configuration, testing, and go-live support in a fast-paced, global environment.

The role involves collaborating with Logistics and Finance SAP Architects, working on 3PL interfaces, and contributing to agile delivery with a focus on SAP

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of related work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent experience.
• Preferred but not required: Agile & Scrum Certification, ITIL, S4 HANA, ESD, TM.
• Excellent SAP skills – system functionality and technical understanding.
• Must be up to date on latest ERP release.
• HANA knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as core member of agile sprint teams to configure and develop optimal technical solutions / features.
• Provide technical delivery of functionality to meet defined business requirements as described in User Stories.

Job description

• Responsible for leading the design and implementation of an SAP SD/ESD and LE solution-delivery of project deliverables including blue prints, functional and technical specifications, system configuration, testing, training and go-live support.
• Partnering with key Business and IT stakeholders to outlay the global design of Transportation Management and delivery of the design globally across multiple ERP systems. Spearheading the business needs on Freight order management and freight settlement, shipment costing, BOL etc.
• Partnering and collaborating with other Logistics and Finance SAP Solution Architects/Principles to design and deliver the integrated solutions in SAP systems.
• Work and provide support on various Customer and 3PL interfaces as required in the Organization.
• Work within and participates in the Change Control process.

Additional Responsibilities

• Utilize specialized expertise in the area to collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain and the Manufacturing Sites to define detailed User Stories for IT enablement of business needs. This includes interpreting any issues and recommending solutions or best practices.
• Partner with Application and Infrastructure to define strategic direction, determine business needs and design & deliver technical viable solutions.
• Essential core member of agile sprint team(s) to configure and develop optimal technical solutions / features.
• Provide technical delivery of functionality to meet defined business requirements as described in User Stories.

Education

• 5-8years of related work experience
