Job summary

Würth IT India Pvt Ltd in Pune seeks an experienced SAP SD Team Lead with 7–10 years of hands-on SAP SD experience to drive end-to-end SD delivery and global rollout programs. You will lead a team of SAP SD consultants, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure successful implementation, support and enhancements.

The role requires strong O2C knowledge, cross-module integration, and proven leadership for international projects.

Qualifications

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive SAP SD Team Lead with 7–10 years of hands‑on expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module implementation, support, and enhancement projects and lead global SAP rollout programs across international business units. The ideal candidate will lead a team of SAP SD consultants, collaborate with business stakeholders, and drive end‑to‑end SAP SD solution delivery aligned with organizational goals. The candidate should possess strong functional knowledge in Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) processes, integration with other SAP modules, stakeholder management, and team leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

SAP SD Functional Leadership

• Lead and manage SAP SD implementation, rollout, support and enhancement projects.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP SD solutions.
• Configure SAP SD processes including:
  • Sales Order Processing
  • Pre‑sales and After‑sales
  • Pricing
  • Billing
  • Credit Management
  • Output Determination
  • Availability Check (ATP)
  • Consignment
  • Returns and Rebate Processes
• Ensure harmonization and standardization of Order‑to‑Cash processes across regions.
• Support localization requirements while minimizing template deviations.
• Support data migration, testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
• Provide support for L2/L3 support activities, incident handling, and issue resolution within defined SLAs.

Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of SAP SD consultants.
• Drive team collaboration and ensure timely closure of project tasks, incidents, and change requests.
• Allocate tasks and monitor deliverables to ensure project timelines are met.
• Manage project deliverables, risks, timelines, and escalation handling.
• Provide status reporting to project leadership and management.
• Collaborate with functional and disciplinary manager and cross‑functional teams.
• Provide effort estimation, risk assessment, and project status updates.
• Ensure high‑quality documentation including functional specifications, test scripts, and training materials.

Integration & Support

• Work closely with SAP MM, FI, WM/EWM, and development teams for end‑to‑end process integration.
• Manage incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Ensure smooth production support and issue resolution within SLA timelines.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) business–processes.
• Strong Pricing experience
• Hands‑on experience in SAP SD configuration and customization.
• Experience in at least 2–3 full‑cycle SAP implementations.
• Strong understanding of integration points with MM, FI, WM/EWM, and Data migration.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of IDocs, interfaces, and EDI processes.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7-10 years of relevant experience in SAP SD.
• Experience in global support or rollout projects.
• Exposure to Agile or SAP Activate methodologies.
• SAP SD Certification preferred.
• Experience in client‑facing consulting roles.
