Job summary

SCHAEFFLER GLOBAL SERVICES INDIA PVT LTD in Maharashtra, India is seeking an experienced ABAP developer to design and implement solutions for PLM processes. You will collaborate with IT and other developers, manage configurations, and support Go Lives and deployments.

The role requires extensive ABAP expertise, Fiori development, RAP/CDS knowledge, and experience with ADT, SAP workflows, and API management. English proficiency (B2) is essential; German is a plus.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Development of Solutions for Schaefflers Product Lifecycle Management Processes like Launch Management or Engineering Change Management.
• Collaboration with IT Consultants and other developers
• Manage configuration settings and performing developer test
• Manage APIs and integrations with related applications
• Support of technical Go Lives and deployment activities
• Support of operational ticketing

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, or a related field.
• Extensive 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven expertise in ABAP development, including RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms), classes, BADIs (Business Add-Ins), BRF+
• Experience in developing Fiori applications including: SAPUI5 (Fiori Freestyle), Fiori Elements, Fiori adaptations and enhancements
• Solid understanding of RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), Core Data Services (CDS) views, annotations, and OData services
• Experience with Eclipse ABAP Development Tools (ADT)
• Experience with SAP workflows
• Experience with API Management
• Familiarity with Business Application Studio (BAS) or WebIDE
• Knowledge in PLM related modules DMS, SD, MM, PP, IC, GTS, QM is an advantage
• Independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style with a strong quality mindset and analytical, conceptual thinking
• Very good command of the English language (min.B2 level)
• Knowledge of German is considered an asset
