Job summary

Schaeffler Global Services India Pvt Ltd seeks a senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer to build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure for AI platforms using IaC (Terraform, Python) and to create robust CI/CD pipelines. You will automate operations, implement logging/monitoring, and ensure security and disaster recovery in a global enterprise context.

You will collaborate with external vendors and internal security teams, bringing 6+ years of experience and strong English communication to the role.

Qualifications

• University degree in (business) informatics or equivalent training with relevant experience.
• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Automation and IaC mindset with Terraform and CI/CD (Jenkins or GitHub Actions).
• Experience with Python scripting.
• DevOps workflows for infra management and automated incident response.
• Hands-on with AWS or Azure cloud services.
• Knowledge of secure service-to-service connectivity and modern authentication.
• Monitoring, logging and alerting in cloud environments.
• Experience with installing and maintaining third-party software in secured private clouds.
• Knowledge of AI tech like AI Agents is a plus.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in this field
• Strong automation and infrastructure as code mindset backed by proven experience in using Terraform and CI/CD technologies like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Experience with at least one additional scripting programming language such as Python
• Used DevOps workflows for infrastructure management and automated incident response before
• Hands-on experience working with managed cloud services (AWS or Azure), including compute, storage, databases, and AI services
• Profound knowledge about common patterns for secure service-to-service connectivity and modern authentication protocols
• Developed and maintained common monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions in cloud environments
• Experience with installing, configuring and maintaining third party software in secured and enterprise ready private cloud environments
• Sound knowledge about latest AI technology, like AI Agents, in combination with AI process automation is a plus
• Fluent in English, spoken and written
• Ability and willingness to take responsibility for services
• Strong hands-on attitude combined with good analytical skills
• Ability to learn new technologies and skills (T-Shape philosophy)
• Proficiency in agile methodologies, with experience working effectively within agile teams and environments, fostering an agile mindset in daily work

• Ensure compliance with security policies and standards, working with security and compliance teams as necessary
