Job summary

InFocus Technologies in Mumbai is seeking an experienced SAP PS Functional Consultant to support projects and critical SAP PS operations. You will work with business users, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and drive SAP PS enhancements and developments from requirements through production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day functional support for SAP PS issues.
• Manage SAP PS ticket queue and ensure incidents meet SLAs.
• Analyze requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to identify SAP solutions.
• Gather and document requirements for RICEFW developments and enhancements.
• Coordinate the full development lifecycle: requirements, design, development, testing, UAT, deployment.
• Coordinate with cross-functional SAP teams (FI/CO, MM, SD) and ABAP/technical teams.
• Track activities, monitor progress, provide status updates to project manager.
• Support production deployment and post-go-live activities.
• Document requirements, issues, solutions, testing, and changes.
• Ensure effective communication between business, functional, and technical teams.

SAP PS Functional Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP PS (Project Systems) Functional Consultant with 57 years of experience in SAP PS support and project delivery. The candidate will be responsible for supporting business users, managing SAP PS issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and delivering SAP enhancements and developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day functional support to business users for SAP PS-related issues.
• Manage the SAP PS ticket queue and ensure timely resolution of incidents within agreed SLAs.
• Analyze business requirements and work with stakeholders to identify appropriate SAP solutions.
• Gather and document requirements for RICEFW developments and enhancements.
• Coordinate the complete development lifecycle, including:
  
• Requirement gathering
• Design validation
• Development coordination
• Functional testing
• UAT support
• Production deployment
• Coordinate with cross-functional SAP teams such as FI/CO, MM, SD, and other relevant teams to resolve interdependent issues.
• Work closely with ABAP/technical teams for custom developments, enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.
• Track development activities, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Provide regular status updates to the Project Manager and key stakeholders.
• Support production deployment, issue resolution, and post-go-live activities.
• Maintain proper documentation of requirements, issues, solutions, testing, and changes.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination between business, functional, and technical teams.

Required Skills

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in SAP PS.
• Strong experience in SAP PS functional support.
• Experience in SAP production support and ticket management.
• Good understanding of SLA-based incident management.
• Experience in requirement gathering and business stakeholder management.
• Exposure to RICEFW developments/enhancements.
• Experience with testing, UAT, and production deployment.
• Experience working with cross-functional SAP modules, preferably FI/CO, MM, or SD.
• Experience coordinating with ABAP/technical teams.
• Good analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple issues and priorities in a support/project environment.
