Job summary

Magellanic Cloud is seeking an experienced SAP Project Systems (PS) Consultant in Hyderabad with 10+ years of SAP implementation and support. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing project management processes across the SAP landscape.

You will work closely with business stakeholders and integrate PS with FICO and MM to ensure accurate planning, budgeting, costing, settlement, and revenue recognition, while guiding end-to-end project delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP PS experience with strong functional expertise.
• Experience in project lifecycle management, planning, budgeting, costing, settlement and resource management.
• Strong integration experience with SAP FICO and SAP MM, working with business stakeholders to design, implement and optimize project management processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and translate them into SAP PS solutions.
• Configure SAP PS across the full project lifecycle.
• Implement WBS Elements, Networks, Activities, Milestones, and Project Profiles.
• Manage planning, budgeting, forecasting, costing, settlement, and revenue recognition.
• Work with users to improve project execution and financial control.
• Integrate SAP PS with FICO, MM, PM, SD and other SAP modules.
• Support end-to-end implementation, rollout, enhancement and production support.
• Prepare FS and coordinate with ABAP for enhancements.
• Perform testing: Unit, SIT, UAT and Go-Live support.
• Prepare user documentation and conduct end-user training.
• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve timely.
• Handle multiple projects while meeting timelines.

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Systems (PS) Consultant with 10+ years of SAP implementation and support experience. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional expertise in SAP PS, with extensive knowledge of project lifecycle management, project planning, budgeting, costing, settlement, and resource management. The candidate should have strong integration experience with SAP FICO and SAP MM and be capable of working closely with business stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize project management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PS solutions.
• Configure and support SAP Project Systems (PS) across the complete project lifecycle.
• Implement project structures including WBS Elements, Networks, Activities, Milestones, and Project Profiles.
• Manage project planning, budgeting, forecasting, costing, settlement, and revenue recognition.
• Work closely with business users to improve project execution and financial control.
• Integrate SAP PS with SAP FICO, MM, PM, SD, and other SAP modules.
• Support end-to-end implementation, rollout, enhancement, and production support projects.
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops and prepare Functional Specifications (FS).
• Coordinate with ABAP developers for custom developments and enhancements.
• Perform testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and Go-Live support.
• Prepare user documentation and conduct end-user training.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring delivery timelines.
