Job summary

Weekday AI (YC W21) in Bengaluru, Karnataka, seeks an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead large-scale SAP S/4HANA and Cloud programs from planning through post-go-live support.

The role demands deep expertise in SAP program management, coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors and partners, with a focus on GxP compliance and risk management in a regulated environment, using Waterfall, Agile or Hybrid methods.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP project, program, or implementation management experience.
• Experience leading SAP S/4HANA and Cloud technology implementations.
• Strong testing, test management, release management, and production readiness.
• Proven stakeholder management, governance, and communication skills.
• Experience with Waterfall, Agile, and/or Hybrid delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA and Cloud implementation programs across planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-go-live phases.
• Manage large-scale SAP ERP projects with multiple functional, technical, compliance, and third-party workstreams.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, governance structures, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate activities across SAP functional and technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Lead scope, risk, issue, dependency, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define and oversee comprehensive testing strategies, including test planning, execution, defect management, and readiness assessments.
• Take responsibility for test management and cutover management for SAP S/4HANA and Cloud implementations.
• Develop detailed cutover plans and coordinate activities required for successful production deployment.
• Coordinate data migration activities and ensure appropriate business and technical readiness.
• Manage release planning and deployment activities, particularly for cloud-based SAP solutions.
• Ensure project documentation, status reporting, governance updates, and management communications are maintained accurately.
• Coordinate post-go-live activities, hypercare, issue resolution, and transition to support teams.
• Ensure project execution aligns with applicable GxP practices, quality requirements, and organizational standards.
• Apply appropriate Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid project management methodologies based on program requirements.
• Monitor delivery progress, identify risks and delays, and drive timely corrective actions.
• Manage senior stakeholders and ensure effective communication across business, technology, compliance, and external teams.
