Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Mumbai seeks an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations and transformations. You will drive project plans, timelines, and governance, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure on-time go-lives and value realization.

8+ years of SAP project management experience is required, with strong skills in SAP Activate, Agile/Waterfall, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SAP project management.
• Proven experience with S/4HANA implementation or transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and Agile/Waterfall frameworks.
• Experience in managing end-to-end project lifecycle from Initiation to Go-Live.
• Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
• Experience in managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Exposure to SAP functional modules (FI, MM, SD).
• Experience in budget management and cost control.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end SAP S/4HANA project delivery.
• Define and execute project plans, timelines, and milestones.
• Ensure alignment with business goals and IT strategy.
• Manage project governance, reporting, and status tracking.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate with functional, technical, and integration teams.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communication plans.
• Oversee budget, resource allocation, and financial tracking.
• Ensure adherence to SAP methodologies (Activate, Agile, Waterfall).
• Drive testing phases (SIT, UAT) and quality assurance.
• Lead cutover planning, go-live, and hypercare support.
• Monitor project KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage vendor and partner relationships.
• Ensure successful change management and user adoption.
