Job summary

Capgemini India is seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM Consultant to lead and support SAP PPQM implementations across manufacturing environments. You will translate business requirements into functional specs, configure key PPQM functionalities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

The role emphasizes requirement gathering, testing, training, cutover activities, and post-go-live support, with strong integration to MM/SD/PM and MES systems.

Qualifications

• SAP PP expertise including Production Planning, MRP and master data management.
• Quality Management expertise covering inspection planning and notifications.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and agile delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the implementation, rollout, and enhancement of SAP PP (Production Planning) and QM (Quality Management) solutions across manufacturing environments.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, process designs, and SAP best practice solutions.
• Configure and support PPQM functionalities including Production Planning, MRP, Production Orders, Capacity Planning, Batch Management, Quality Planning, Inspection, and Notifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, cross-functional SAP teams, and technical consultants to deliver end-to-end integrated solutions.
• Drive requirement gathering workshops, fit-gap analysis, testing, user training, cutover activities, and post go-live support.
• Support integration of PPQM with MM, WM/EWM, SD, PM, and MES systems.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot system issues, and recommend process improvements.
• Prepare functional design documents, test scripts, training materials, and knowledge transfer materials.
