Job summary

HCLTech in Lucknow, UP, is seeking a seasoned SAP PP specialist to configure and support production planning processes, improving operational efficiency. You will work on BOMs, routings, work centers, MRP, and integration with MM, SD, and QM in S/4HANA.

The role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and hands-on experience across end-to-end PP implementations. Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements, test configurations, and resolve production-related issues.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of IT experience with SAP PP.
• Experience configuring PP processes including BOM, Routing, Work Centers, and MRP.
• Strong knowledge in Production Planning, Demand Management, and Capacity Planning.
• Experience with S/4HANA PP functionalities.
• Ability to gather requirements and perform business process analysis.
• Experience with PP-PI is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of overall IT experience with strong focus on SAP PP

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP (Production Planning) module
• Experience in configuring PP processes (BOM, Routing, Work Centers, MRP, etc.)
• Expertise in Production Planning, Demand Management, and Capacity Planning
• Strong knowledge of MRP (Material Requirement Planning) processes
• Experience in Production Orders and Process Orders
• Integration knowledge with SAP MM, SD, and QM modules
• Experience in S/4HANA PP functionalities
• Hands-on experience in business process analysis and requirement gathering
• Experience in configuration, testing, and support of SAP PP solutions
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues
• Knowledge of master data management (Material Master, BOM, Routing)
• Experience in end-to-end implementation or rollout projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with PP-PI (Process Industries)

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Advanced Planning (APO/IBP)
