Job summary

NTT DATA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM consultant to support production processes and implement QM modules.

You will handle PP/QM configuration, integration with MES, data migration, and ensure compliance with SLAs. Excellent communication and ability to work in a consulting environment are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of SAP PP/QM experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience in production support with strict SLAs and Service Now.
• Proficient in Make-to-Stock and Make-to-Order strategies.
• Strong knowledge of QM processes: in-process, final, incoming inspections and certificates.
• Able to document design, test cases, and results; capable of cross-module integration.

Responsibilities

• Assist PP and QM configuration in SPRO to meet business needs.
• Design, build, and configure PP/QM applications across modules.
• Coordinate testing and user acceptance with business users.
• Ensure data migration using BDC/LSMW/BAPI techniques and IDOC monitoring.
• Collaborate with MES integration on shop floor and production execution.

Job description

Facilitate implementation and support of PP/QM Experience: 3-5 years

• Good experience in production support with resolving user issues and coordinating user testing activities. Experience in working with ticketing tools like Service Now and handling change management process by ChaRM
• Must have worked in AMS support projects and Production support with stringent SLAs.
• Expertise in Make to stock and make to orders manufacturing strategies
• Expertise in QM business processes like In-process inspection, final inspection, Incoming inspection, Quality certificates, Notification processing
• A very good understanding of business requirements according to business user requirement specification documents
• Strong experience of design build and configure PP and QM applications to meet business processes and requirements
• Experience in configuration of PP and QM modules as per business requirements in SPRO
• Should be able to implement and propose solutions by understanding current business process functionalities
• Document functional design,test cases and results
• Good experience in Process, Discrete and repetitive manufacturing is a must
• Complete understanding of SOP, Flexible planning, capacity planning ,Variant configuration ,atch management ,Engineering change management
• Good experience in QM with respect to Master data ,Inspection processing ,Sample management,Notifications,Qaulity certificates, Vendor evaluation, Stability studies
• Ability to handle integration with third party interfaces like MES systems by IDOC monitoring
• Desirable to have a good knowledge in digital manufacturing of shop floor and production execution areas
• Experienced in data migration and data uploads using BDCs,LSMWs,BAPI and workflow
• Strong cross module knowledge in MM.,EWM,FICO and SD
• To ensure that Quality & Documentation of the projects as per the Client s requirements (Procedures)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work as a team player in a consulting environment.
