Job summary

NTT DATA Business Solutions seeks an experienced SAP PP/QM professional to support and optimize manufacturing processes for global clients from Hyderabad. You will implement and configure PP and QM modules, coordinate user testing, and ensure quality in delivery.

Experience with SAP MES interfaces and IDOC monitoring is valued. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years in PP/QM, strong problem-solving, and proven ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing consulting environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in PP/QM implementation and support.
• Experience in production support with issue resolution and user testing coordination.
• Experience in AMS and production support with strict SLAs.
• Experience in Make to stock and make to order manufacturing strategies.
• Expertise in QM processes: in-process, final, incoming inspection, certificates, notifications.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into SAP configurations.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP PP and QM implementations and bug fixes.
• Coordinate user testing and resolve user issues.
• Handle AMS and production support with adherence to SLAs.
• Configure PP/ QM modules in SPRO per business requirements.
• Document design, test cases, and results.
• Interact with MES interfaces via IDOC and monitor integrations.
• Migrate data using BDC/LSMW/BAPI workflows.

• Facilitate implementation and support of PP/QM Experience: 3-5 years
• Good experience in production support with resolving user issues and coordinating user testing activities. Experience in working with ticketing tools like Service Now and handling change management process by ChaRM
• Must have worked in AMS support projects and Production support with stringent SLAs.
• Expertise in Make to stock and make to orders manufacturing strategies
• Expertise in QM business processes like In-process inspection, final inspection, Incoming inspection, Quality certificates, Notification processing
• A very good understanding of business requirements according to business user requirement specification documents
• Strong experience of design build and configure PP and QM applications to meet business processes and requirements
• Experience in configuration of PP and QM modules as per business requirements in SPRO
• Should be able to implement and propose solutions by understanding current business process functionalities
• Document functional design,test cases and results
• Good experience in Process, Discrete and repetitive manufacturing is a must
• Complete understanding of SOP, Flexible planning, capacity planning ,Variant configuration ,atch management ,Engineering change management
• Good experience in QM with respect to Master data ,Inspection processing ,Sample management,Notifications,Qaulity certificates, Vendor evaluation, Stability studies
• Ability to handle integration with third party interfaces like MES systems by IDOC monitoring
• Desirable to have a good knowledge in digital manufacturing of shop floor and production execution areas
• Experienced in data migration and data uploads using BDCs,LSMWs,BAPI and workflow
• Strong cross module knowledge in MM.,EWM,FICO and SD
• To ensure that Quality & Documentation of the projects as per the Client ’s requirements (Procedures)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work as a team player in a consulting environment.
