Job summary

Daimler Trucks North America LLC in Chennai, India is seeking an experienced SAP PP professional to lead integration efforts and rollout projects. The role emphasizes SAP PP, WRICEF objects, and hands-on work with IDoc, API and RFC interfaces, and requires contributing to S/4HANA readiness where applicable.

You will manage manufacturing master data (Material Master, BoM, Routing, Work Centers), support Discrete Manufacturing and MRP processes, and collaborate on CIF interfaces and planning tools

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Core SAP PP module.
• Experience in rollout projects and 1–2 implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP PP integration with external and SAP applications using IDoc, API, RFC.
• Gather business requirements and prepare process documentation and functional specs.
• Perform system configuration, customization and implementation.
• Handle WRICEF objects including reports, user exits, enhancements, interfaces, forms and conversions.
• Work with CIF and planning tools like SAP IBP or Anaplan.

Tasks

1. Hands-on experience in SAP integration with external and SAP applications using technologies such as IDoc, API, RFC, and related interfaces.
2. Strong capability to gather and analyze business requirements, prepare business process documentation, develop functional specifications, and perform system configuration, customization, and implementation.
3. Experience working on WRICEF objects, including custom reports, user exits, enhancements, interfaces, forms, and conversions.
4. Exposure to SAP S/4HANA will be considered an added advantage.
5. Strong knowledge of manufacturing master data, including Material Master, Bill of Materials (BoM), Routing, Work Centers, and related master data objects.
6. Good understanding of Discrete Manufacturing, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), production planning processes, and shop floor execution.
7. Knowledge of Core Interface (CIF) and integration with advanced planning tools such as SAP IBP, Anaplan, or similar planning solutions.

SAP PP support, AMS and CR for regular IT support for plant operations

Qualifications

Any Bachelors degree is minimum required (with 8-10 Years of experience in Core SAP PP Module)

Candidate should have experience in roll out and 1 or 2 implementation projects
