Job summary

Acesoft Labs is seeking a SAP PP/Logistics functional consultant with 8-9 years of experience to lead production planning configurations. The role includes MRP Live activation on S/4HANA, BOMs, routings, work centers and integration with shop floor systems.

The candidate will support cross-functional processes with SD, WM, QM and FI, manage tickets, gather requirements, and coordinate user testing and issue resolution with business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8-9 years experience in PP/MM across multiple implementations, production support and enhancements.
• Expertise in MRP, GR Processing, Production Versions, Serial Number Profiles, In House Processing Time, Planning Calendars for both MTS and MTO.
• Experience with S4 HANA activation of MRP Live and configuration.
• Strong BOM, Alternate BOMs, Routing, Rate Routings, Work Centers and Capacity Planning knowledge.
• PP Variant Configuration process and Material Master classifications.
• Hands-on integration with non-SAP shop floor systems and successful troubleshooting of interfaces like File-based, SQL, SFTP, SAP PI or IDOCS.

Responsibilities

• Support PP/MM configurations and resolve tickets related to production planning processes.
• Collaborate with SD, WM, QM and FI teams for cross-functional issues and issue resolution.
• Gather requirements from business users for enhancements and document BRD/URS.
• Coordinate with users during testing and issue resolution to ensure proper handshakes and sign-off.

SAP PP/ Logistics Functional Requirement

Mandatory Skills

• PP/MM functional consultant with minimum 8- 9 years of work experience in multiple implementations, Production Support and Enhancement projects for Manufacturing, Automotive and other Discrete/Repetitive Production Industries.
• Must have expertise in Configuration of Production Planning area such as MRP, GR Processing, Production Versions, Serial Number Profiles, In House Processing Time, Planning Calendars, both MTS (Make to Stock)/ MTO (Make to Order) Order Processing.
• Must have experience with Setup of Repetitive Manufacturing Process of Planning Table, REM Confirmation Process, Post Processing Records.
• Must have atealst one recent experience with S4 HANA particularly with activation of MRP Live and its configuration.
• Strong expertise with Bill of Material, Alternate BOMs, Routing, Rate Routings, Work Centers, Capacity Planning, CAPP Calculations.
• Expertise in PP Variant Configuration Process, Classes, Characteristics and Classification tab of Material Master.
• Hands on experience in integration with Non SAP Shop Floor Systems where Production Orders and Planned orders are processed.
• Proven experience troubleshooting the interfaces like File based, SQL or SFTP or SAP PI or IDOCS for Production Planning Interfaces in integration with Shop Floor systems.
• Experience with Non SAP Systems for Master Data, MES Shop Floor System, Financial Records processing.

Secondary Skill

• Good Integration Knowledge with SD, WM, QM and FI.
• Materials Management Module - Material Master, POs, Inventory Management, GR, Transfer Posting, Stock Transfer, New Movement Types, Pricing, Split Valuation and Quota Arrangement.
• Provide support for cross-functional issues involving SD, FI-CO, PP, QM and guide technical team members (ABAP) for issue resolution.
• Strong Understanding of Complex Supply Chain processes.
• Assist business users with ad-hoc queries and training as needed.Analyze and evaluate assigned tickets and support resolution in the area of configuration, testing and documentation.
• Meet with business users to gather business requirements for additional system design/enhancements and preparation of business requirement analysis/user requirement specifications.
• Co-ordination activity with business users for proper handshake of issues during user testing as well as during issue resolution.
• Meet with business users to evaluate and understand system changes/issue list.
• Documentation of all analysis, recommendations, configurations, enhancements, testing and training efforts.
