Job summary

Zoho is seeking an experienced SAP PP Consultant to design, configure, and optimize enterprise manufacturing operations. The role focuses on translating production strategies, material requirements, and shop-floor lifecycles into efficient automated solutions.

The successful candidate will implement master data configurations, production strategy controls, and cross-functional integrations across SAP modules, with a preference for S/4HANA and embedded PP/DS capabilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of dedicated configuration and implementation experience within the SAP PP module.
• Strong mastery of SAP ECC or S/4HANA configuration panels and order type control rules.
• Mandatory certification: SAP Certified Application Associate - Production Planning and Manufacturing (S/4HANA preferred).

Responsibilities

• Configure core SAP PP master data elements (BOMs, Work Centers, Routings, Production Versions, Material Masters).
• Design and manage production strategy controls (MRP Live, S&OP, Demand Management).
• Implement manufacturing frameworks (Discrete, PP-PI, Repetitive) per facility profiles.
• Optimize shop-floor control processes (order creation, confirmations, TECO).
• Configure Capacity Planning workflows and bottleneck remediation.
• Collaborate with ABAP teams to design RICEFW specs for shop-floor labels and dashboards.
• Orchestrate cross-functional integration with SAP MM, SD, FICO, QM and EWM.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP Consultant to design, configure, and optimize our enterprise manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will translate complex production strategies, material requirement parameters, and shop-floor execution lifecycles into highly efficient, scalable automated solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure core SAP PP master data elements, including Bills of Material (BOMs), Work Centers, Routings, Production Versions, and Material Masters.
• Design and manage production strategy controls, configuring Material Requirements Planning (MRP/MRP Live), Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), and Demand Management.
• Implement diverse manufacturing frameworks, tailoring systems for Discrete Manufacturing, Process Manufacturing (PP-PI), or Repetitive Manufacturing depending on facility profiles.
• Optimize shop-floor control processes, managing Production/Process Order creation, availability checks, material staging, order confirmation, and technical completion (TECO).
• Configure Capacity Planning workflows, establishing capacity evaluation parameters, leveling strategies, and bottleneck remediation routines.
• Collaborate with technical ABAP teams to design custom functional specifications (RICEFW) for shop-floor labels, custom execution dashboards, and automated order release structures.
• Orchestrate cross-functional integration, connecting SAP PP seamlessly with adjacent modules including SAP MM, SD, FICO, Quality Management (QM), and EWM.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of core SAP functional configuration experience, with 4+ dedicated years actively designing and deploying solutions inside the SAP PP module.
• Strong technical mastery of SAP ECC or S/4HANA configuration panels, scheduling parameters, batch management, and order type control rules.
• Deep structural understanding of supply chain manufacturing architectures, backflushing logic, and standard product costing connections.
• Mandatory certification: SAP Certified Application Associate - Production Planning and Manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with S/4HANA implementations, specifically leveraging advanced features like embedded PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) or DDMRP.
• Experience integrating SAP PP with external Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) applications.
