Job summary

Daimler Truck in Chennai seeks a SAP Integration specialist to connect external systems with SAP using IDoc, API and RFC interfaces. You will design WRICEF components, configure SAP S/4HANA, and manage manufacturing master data including Material Master, BoM, routing and work centers.

You will collaborate with production planning teams to optimize MRP, shop floor execution, and integration with planning tools like SAP IBP or Anaplan. Prior hands-on SAP integration experience is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in SAP integration with external and SAP applications using IDoc, API, RFC.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, prepare business process documentation, develop functional specifications, and perform system configuration, customization, and implementation.
• Experience with WRICEF objects: reports, user exits, enhancements, interfaces, forms, conversions.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
• Knowledge of manufacturing master data: Material Master, BoM, Routing, Work Centers.
• Understanding of Discrete Manufacturing, MRP, production planning, and shop floor execution.
• Knowledge of CIF and integration with planning tools like SAP IBP or Anaplan.

Job description

• Hands-on experience in SAP integration with external and SAP applications using technologies such as IDoc, API, RFC, and related interfaces.


• Strong capability to gather and analyze business requirements, prepare business process documentation, develop functional specifications, and perform system configuration, customization, and implementation.


• Experience working on WRICEF objects, including custom reports, user exits, enhancements, interfaces, forms, and conversions.


• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA will be considered an added advantage.


• Strong knowledge of manufacturing master data, including Material Master, Bill of Materials (BoM), Routing, Work Centers, and related master data objects.


• Good understanding of Discrete Manufacturing, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), production planning processes, and shop floor execution.


• Knowledge of Core Interface (CIF) and integration with advanced planning tools such as SAP IBP, Anaplan, or similar planning solutions.
