Job summary

Infosys is hiring a SAP PM Consultant to lead implementation and support projects across multiple client engagements in Pune. You will work on Master Data, Notifications, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance Order Management, integrating with third-party tools as needed.

The role requires strong functional knowledge, FS writing ability, and collaboration with ABAP teams to deliver value-driven solutions. You will engage with clients and contribute to project success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in SAP PM with implementation and support projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Master Data, Notification Management, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance Order Management.
• Experience with SAP PM integration with third-party tools.
• Ability to write Functional Specifications (FS) and coordinate with ABAP team.
• Ability to assess processes and suggest technology solutions; strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose client issues and design innovative SAP PM solutions.
• Lead configuration and product design activities, pilots, and demos.
• Prepare effort estimates aligned with client budget and guidelines.
• Manage small projects and contribute to organizational initiatives.

SAP PM Consultant

• Must have minimum 5+ years of relevant experience with good analytical skill having experience in Implementation and Support projects
• In-depth knowledge in below mentioned areas –
  • Master Data: Functional Location, Equipment Master, Class & Characteristics, Work center, Task List, Revision, Measuring Points etc.
  • Notification Management: Configuration and Process Flow, Integration with Maintenance Order
  • Preventive Maintenance: Single Cycle Plan, Strategy Based Maintenance Plan, Task List, Maintenance Plan Scheduling Parameter, Maintenance Strategy, Deadline Monitoring
  • Maintenance Order Management: Breakdown Maintenance Process & Corrective Maintenance Process, Calibration Maintenance
  • Should have worked on Status Management in Notification and Maintenance Order.
  • Must have experience in SAP PM integration with third party tool
  • Experience in writing Functional Specification (FS), co-ordination with ABAP team and testing of new functionality or enhancement
  • Ability to develop value-creating strategies and models that enable clients to innovate, drive growth and increase their business profitability
  • Good knowledge on software configuration management systems
  • Awareness of latest technologies and Industry trends
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving skills along with an ability to collaborate

A day in the life of an Infoscion

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight.
• You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise.
• You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design
• You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization’s financial guidelines
• Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.
