Job summary

Rapinno Tech Solutions GmbH in Bangalore is seeking an experienced OpenText Extended ECM for SAP Consultant to lead SAP-OpenText integration initiatives. The role focuses on OpenText Extended ECM for SAP (xECM) with hands-on work across installation, configuration, and implementation.

You will configure and integrate OpenText with SAP S/4HANA, Content Server, Archive Center, OTDS, and Archive Server, while driving Fiori integration and Smart UI design for business users.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with OpenText Extended ECM for SAP / xECM.
• Deep understanding of SAP and OpenText architecture and integration.
• Proven installation, configuration, administration and implementation of OpenText solutions.
• Delivered at least one OpenText Extended ECM for SAP implementation.
• Strong experience integrating OpenText with SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, administer, and support OpenText Extended ECM for SAP (xECM).
• Demonstrate strong understanding of SAP and OpenText functionalities.
• Lead and deliver at least one end-to-end OpenText Extended ECM for SAP implementation.
• Configure and integrate OpenText with SAP S/4HANA and related SAP processes.
• Perform technical and functional configuration of SAP and OpenText Content Server.
• Configure Business Workspaces, References, and Relationships.
• Work with OpenText Content Server and Archive Server (v16+).
• Drive Fiori integration with xECM in collaboration with SAP Fiori/UI teams.
• Design and configure Smart UI experiences using Perspective Manager.
• Work hands-on with OTDS, Archive Center, and related OpenText components.
• Configure and support OpenText Records Management capabilities.
• Troubleshoot integration and configuration issues across SAP and OpenText environments.
• Collaborate with SAP, functional, technical, and business teams to deliver scalable ECM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, administer, and support OpenText Extended ECM for SAP (xECM) solutions.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of both SAP and OpenText functionalities.
• Lead and deliver at least one end-to-end OpenText Extended ECM for SAP implementation.
• Configure and integrate OpenText solutions with SAP S/4HANA and relevant SAP business processes.
• Perform technical and functional configuration of SAP and OpenText Content Server.
• Configure Business Workspaces, References, and Relationships based on business requirements.
• Work with OpenText Content Server and Archive Server, preferably versions 16.x and above.
• Drive Fiori integration with xECM in collaboration with SAP Fiori/UI development teams.
• Design and configure Smart UI experiences for business users based on roles and business requirements using Perspective Manager.
• Work hands-on with OTDS (OpenText Directory Services), Archive Center, and related OpenText components.
• Configure and support OpenText Records Management capabilities.
• Troubleshoot integration, configuration, and application issues across SAP and OpenText environments.
• Collaborate with SAP, functional, technical, and business teams to deliver scalable ECM solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with OpenText Extended ECM for SAP / xECM.
• Deep understanding of SAP and OpenText architecture, functionalities, and integration.
• Proven experience in installation, configuration, administration, and implementation of OpenText solutions.
• Successfully delivered at least one OpenText Extended ECM for SAP implementation.
• Strong experience integrating OpenText with SAP S/4HANA.
• Hands-on experience with Content Server, Archive Server, OTDS, and Archive Center.
• Experience configuring Business Workspaces, References, and Relationships.
• Experience with Smart UI and Perspective Manager.
• Knowledge of Records Management.
• Experience working with SAP Fiori integration with xECM.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of OpenText Content Server REST APIs.
• Experience with newer OpenText platform versions and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Experience working on enterprise Document Management / Enterprise Content Management implementations.
• Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
