Job summary

Alstom is seeking a full-time SAP GSI Project Specialist in Bangalore to lead ERP project delivery. You will manage cross-functional teams across sourcing, finance, and technical groups, ensuring projects align with Alstom's global standards and roadmap.

You will plan, staff, and lead delivery activities, optimize delivery models, and mitigate risks while maintaining budgets and schedules. Strong English communication and stakeholder engagement are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, preferably in information technology.
• Over 6+ years, 3-5 years of experience in project management?
• Certifications like PMP or PRINCE2 are preferred.

• Defining capacity plans and ensuring timely staffing aligned with skill requirements.
• Leading projects by managing scope, resources, and interdependencies.

Your future role

You'll play a pivotal role in delivering SAP GSI projects, ensuring that they are executed efficiently and align with Alstoms global roadmap and standards. Day-to-day, youll work closely with cross-functional teams across the business (such as sourcing, financial, and technical teams), manage project plans and budgets, and oversee the successful delivery of critical ERP initiatives.

Youll specifically take care of planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling delivery activities, but also optimizing delivery models and mitigating project risks.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills
• Ability to engage effectively with executive-level stakeholders
• Strong scheduling and budgeting expertise
• Fluent in English and comfortable working in an international environment
• Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a results-oriented mindset
