Job summary

UBS is seeking a Software Engineer in India to contribute to the ampliFi subledger implementation, engaging with banking-grade data, SAP FPSL, FSDM and FOF modules. The role requires extensive experience and collaborative skills to deliver robust subledger solutions.

You will work in a fast-moving team, aligning with risk standards while mentoring peers and driving continuous improvement in SAP-based financial workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on design, development and maintenance of software solutions.
• Proficient in SAP FPSL configuration for banking systems and SAP HANA knowledge.
• Experience in data sourcing, ETL processes and SAP FSDM.
• Experience with SAP Finance Data Suite, including Finance Open Integration Framework (FOF).
• Curious and motivated to learn new technologies with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train, mentor and develop peers for subledger solutions in banks.

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to:

• design, development, and maintenance of subledger application using SAP Fioneer FSDM/FPSL/ FOF
• collaborate with Product Managers to deliver high quality solutions from defined requirements
• manage issues and dependencies within and outside the pod

The team

You will be working in the ampliFi subledger and GGL crew in India, playing a key role in the implementation of ampliFi subledger.

Your Skills And Experience

• you’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
• proven 8+ years hands-on experience in the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions
• proficient in solution design and configuration of SAP FPSL for banking systems and strong knowledge of SAP HANA
• Experience in data sourcing and ETL processes and sound knowledge of SAP FSDM
• experience with SAP Finance Data Suite, including Finance Open Integration Framework (FOF)
• curious and motivated to learn new technologies and best practices and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• proven expertise in performance tuning and optimization of SAP HANA database applications and effective communicator with experience in preparing presentations and authoring technical documentation
• proven ability to train, mentor, and develop peer resources to enhance team capability & experience in delivering subledger solutions for banks in complex financial environments
