Job summary

Swiss Re in Bengaluru seeks a technically curious software engineer to own development, integration and technical analysis within the Subledger domain, spanning diverse tech stacks and a highly integrated platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing software solutions.
• Expertise in SAP S4HANA.
• Proficiency in object oriented programming languages, database tables/structures and SQL.
• Experience across all phases of application development: requirements gathering, architecture, implementation, maintenance, testing, and documentation
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• A mindset geared toward business analysis, not just development.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience working in an agile environment
• Able to deal with ambiguity and influence positive outcomes.

We are seeking a technically curious, interface-savvy engineer to join our team.

The candidate will take ownership of engineering activities spanning development, system integration, and technical analysis within the Subledger domain-working across diverse technology stacks and contributing to the harmonization of interconnected systems.

About the team

Globally distributed team of engineers and BA's (Zurich, US, India, Slovakia) working with global stakeholders and significant stakeholder base across locations.

About you

• The ideal candidate should have expertise in software engineering and SAP S4HANA.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing software solutions.
• Proficiency in object oriented programming languages, database tables/structures and SQL.
