Qualifications

• 12–15 years of SAP FICO experience within IT services.
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA with GL, AP, AR, and Asset Accounting.
• Deep knowledge of Material Ledger, Fund Management and GST implementations.
• Experience with intercompany reconciliations and complex financial close.
• Proven ability to develop RICEF objects and write functional specs.
• Experience with MT940, DME and EBRS banking interfaces.

Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP FICO Subject Matter Expert to lead complex financial transformation initiatives within the IT Services sector. In this pivotal role, the incumbent will serve as the primary authority for Financial Accounting and Controlling modules, driving strategic implementation projects and ensuring seamless integration of global financial standards. The position demands a deep mastery of SAP S/4HANA ecosystems, with a specific focus on advanced functionalities such as Material Ledger, Fund Management, and intricate banking interfaces. This expert will be instrumental in overseeing critical financial closing processes, managing intercompany reconciliations, and guiding the organization through major upgrades and regulatory compliance mandates like GST.

Responsibilities

• Architect and execute comprehensive solutions for SAP S/4HANA and HANA implementation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  
• Lead the design and configuration of core FI components including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting.
  
• Manage complex financial closing cycles and facilitate accurate intercompany reconciliation processes across global entities.
  
• Develop and maintain RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) objects, including detailed functional specifications for critical banking integrations such as MT940, DME, and EBRS.
  
• Drive domestic SAP project implementations with a strong emphasis on GST compliance and taxation requirements.
  
• Provide expert consultation on Fund Management and Material Ledger functionalities to optimize financial reporting and inventory valuation.
  
• Serve as the key liaison for technical and functional teams during system upgrades and process optimization initiatives.

Requirements:

• Possess 12 to 15 years of specialized experience in SAP FICO within the IT Services industry.
  
• Demonstrate proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration strategies, and HANA database technologies.
  
• Hold advanced proficiency in Material Ledger and Fund Management modules.
  
• Show deep technical knowledge of banking interfaces, specifically MT940, DME, and EBRS protocols.
  
• Exhibit strong command over Financial Closing, Intercompany Reconciliation, and Taxation/GST implementation frameworks.
  
• Have a track record of delivering RICEF objects and authoring precise functional specifications.
  
• Be capable of leading end-to-end domestic SAP projects from conception to go-live.
