Job summary

Genpact is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Lead Consultant to lead and support end-to-end implementation of Financial Accounting processes on SAP S/4 HANA. The role requires shaping FI configurations, mapping finance processes, and ensuring go-live success.

You will work with stakeholders to drive migration from ECC to S/4HANA, manage data migration of GL/AP/AR/assets, and ensure statutory tax compliance. This is a hybrid role across multiple Indian cities.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of SAP FI/CO experience.
• Experience in SAP S/4 HANA FI and CO modules.
• Experience leading FI implementations in brownfield or greenfield projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support Fit-Gap / Fit-to-Standard workshops for FI processes.
• Configure and customize SAP S/4 HANA FI components: GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank, and Closing Cockpit.
• Drive migration from ECC to S/4HANA including ACDOCA adoption and ledger strategy.
• Design COA, fiscal year variants, posting keys and tolerance groups.
• Integrate FI with CO, MM, SD, HR/Payroll, and Treasury.
• Support data migration for open items and reconciliation.
• Develop specs for RICEFW objects and coordinate with ABAP.
• Conduct SIT/UAT support, end-user training, and cutover.
• Provide post go-live hypercare and production support.
• Ensure GST, WHT, and local tax compliance.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4 HANA Finance (FI) Consultant to lead and support end-to-end implementation of Financial Accounting processes. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to map finance processes onto SAP S/4 HANA, drive configuration, and ensure successful go-live.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support Fit-Gap / Fit-to-Standard workshops for FI processes in brownfield or greenfield projects.
• Configure and customise SAP S/4 HANA FI components: General Ledger (New GL), Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Closing Cockpit.
• Drive migration from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA including Universal Journal (ACDOCA) adoption and ledger strategy definition.
• Design chart of accounts, fiscal year variants, document number ranges, posting keys, and tolerance groups.
• Integrate FI with CO, MM (GR/IR), SD (billing), HR/Payroll, and Treasury modules.
• Support data migration for open items (GL, AP, AR, assets) and reconciliation activities.
• Develop functional specifications for RICEFW objects and work with ABAP developers for enhancements.
• Conduct SIT, UAT support, end-user training, and cutover activities.
• Provide post go-live hypercare and production support.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and tax regulations (GST, WHT, etc.).

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong expertise in SAP FI: GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting.
• Hands-on experience with Universal Journal and New Asset Accounting in S/4 HANA.
• Knowledge of financial closing processes, period-end activities, and year-end close.
• Experience in brownfield migration using SAP's Readiness Check and Simplification List.
• Proficiency in FI-CO integration and real-time accounting.
• Understanding of SAP Fiori apps for finance processes.
• Experience with SAP BTP integration for financial data flows is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS / local GAAP reporting requirements.

Preferred Certifications

• SAP Certified Application Associate SAP S/4 HANA for Financial Accounting Associates
• SAP Certified Application Professional Financials in SAP S/4 HANA (advantage)
