Job summary

Infosys in India seeks an experienced SAP FICO consultant with strong integration across MM and SD. You will join the Infosys consulting team to participate in problem definition, solution design and deployment across end-to-end SAP projects.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, collaboration with clients, and hands-on configuration in AR/AP/GL. Exposure to Concur, T&E and industry solutions is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP FICO with cross-module integration.
• Expertise in Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, and Availability to Produce.
• Hands-on configuration in AR, AP, GL, Asset Accounting, Product Costing, FSCM, COPA.
• Ability to write Functional Specifications and work on custom object development.
• Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project.
• Exposure to Concur, Travel & Expense (T&E), industry-specific solutions, and customer-facing roles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Actively aid the consulting team in problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis and design.
• Explore the alternatives to the recommended solutions based on research and vendor data, and build POCs.
• Create requirement specifications from business needs, define to-be-processes and detailed functional designs.
• Support configuring solution requirements on the products; understand issues, diagnose root-cause and shortlist alternatives.
• Contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with high quality value-added solutions for customers.
• Identify business challenges with clients and refine data for deliverables; stay aware of latest technologies and trends.
• Collaborate effectively to assess current processes and suggest improvements.

• Hands-on configuration experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Product Costing, FSCM, and COPA.
• Ability to independently write Functional Specifications and work on custom object development and deployment.
• Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project.

A day in the life of an Infoscion

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to actively aid the consulting team in different phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design and deployment
• You will explore the alternatives to the recommended solutions based on research that includes literature surveys, information available in public domains, vendor evaluation information, etc. and build POCs
• You will create requirement specifications from the business needs, define the to-be-processes and detailed functional designs based on requirements.
• You will support configuring solution requirements on the products; understand if any issues, diagnose the root-cause of such issues, seek clarifications, and then identify and shortlist solution alternatives
