Job summary

Microtek in Delhi, India seeks an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to drive requirement gathering, blueprinting, and configuration in SAP FI/CO. You will work with business analysts and SMEs to document requirements and ensure seamless integration with technical teams.

The role requires 6–9 years of SAP FI/CO experience, familiarity with New GL and Parallel Accounting, and strong communication skills. Relevant SAP FI certification is a plus and the position is on-site in Delhi.

Qualifications

• Experience in SAP FI & CO with 1-2 full-cycle SAP implementations.
• Ability to prepare business blueprints, AS-IS & TO-BE docs, functional specs.
• Knowledge of GL, CO, master data, and asset accounting configurations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• SAP FI certification is a plus.

Job Description FICO Consultant

• Requirement gathering, Gap analysis, Business Blueprint preparation, preparing functional specifications, test scripts and Unit testing.


• Work with business analysts, business SMEs and process councils to analyze business requirements, prepare and participate in workshops, documentation of business requirement, functional specifications and configuration documentation


• Work with the SAP technical team for translating functional requirements into technical design and finally its development in SAP system.


• Meeting and discussions with key stakeholders from business side.

Knowledge & Skill Set Requirements:

• Experience in SAP FI & CO module with 1-2 full-cycle SAP implementation, including requirements gathering, planning and scoping, application design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post go-live support.


• Expertise to understand business requirement, prepares AS-IS & TO-BE document and sign-off with users for Business blueprint document.


• Setting up organization structure of both FI & CO with relevant configuration like Company, Co Code, Fiscal Year, Posting Period, Chart of Account, Chart of Depreciation, Controlling Area.


• Finalization of GL Group, Vendor Group, Customer Group, Terms of Payments.


• Finalization of Cost Centre Hierarchy, Cost Centre Groups, Profit Centre Groups, Version.


• Finalization of various numbers ranges for Document Types, GL Master, Controlling Document Postings.


• Good understanding of New GL functionality Parallel Accounting, Document Splitting.


• Configuration of Asset Accounting, House Bank, Bank Master, Automatic Payment Program.


• Preparation of master data templates for various object like GL master, Asset Master, Costs Center & Profit Centre.


• Configure & Maintain Primary and Secondary Cost Elements.


• Strong understanding of Product Costing in SAP.


• Integration with other module PP, SD, MM, HR and expertise in account entries.


• Preparing the cut over strategy for FI objects.


• Knowledge of change of Tax procedure, system changes under GST regime.


• Integration testing with other module PP, SD and MM


• Year of Experience Assistant Manager: 6-9 Years.


• Certification in SAP FI will be an added advantage.


• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.


• Will to work in a 24x7 environment.
