Techwave Consulting in Hyderabad (Hybrid) seeks an experienced SAP FICO consultant with 8+ years to own Core Financial Accounting and SAP S/4HANA Finance activities.

You will handle AP, AR, GL, AA, tax config, Universal Journal (ACDOCA), and FI integrations with SD and MM, while coordinating month‑end/year‑end close with stakeholders.

This full‑time role demands strong analytical skills, AMS/support experience, and good data reconciliation practice in a global SAP environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP FI modules configuration and global close processes.
• Hands-on experience with Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and S/4HANA Finance concepts.
• Strong exposure to FI integration with SD and MM processes.
• Experience in AMS/Production Support environments and month-end close cycles.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

Core Financial Accounting (FI)

• Accounts Payable (AP) including Vendor Master, Invoice Processing, Payment Programs, Automatic Payments, Withholding Tax, and Vendor Reconciliation.
• Accounts Receivable (AR) including Customer Master, Billing Integration, Incoming Payments, Dunning, Credit Management, and Customer Reconciliation.
• General Ledger Accounting (GL) including Journal Entries, Accruals, Financial Closing Activities, Foreign Currency Valuation, and Financial Reporting.
• Bank Accounting and Electronic Bank Reconciliation.
• Asset Accounting (AA) understanding preferred.
• Tax configuration and support knowledge.

SAP S/4HANA Finance

• Strong understanding of the Universal Journal (ACDOCA) architecture.
• Experience with Universal Ledger concepts and S/4HANA Financial Accounting simplification items.
• Knowledge of parallel ledgers, document splitting, and financial reporting in S/4HANA.
• Familiarity with Fiori apps related to Finance processes.
• Exposure to S/4HANA migration, finance data conversion, and reconciliation activities.

Integration Expertise

• FI integration with SD (Order-to-Cash).
• FI integration with MM (Procure-to-Pay).
• Understanding of inventory accounting and valuation impacts.
• Knowledge of cross-functional financial postings and end-to-end business process flows.

Support & Operations

• Experience in AMS/Production Support environments.
• Incident, service request, and enhancement handling.
• Root cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Experience working closely with business stakeholders during month-end and year-end close cycles.

Technical & Functional Competencies

• Configuration knowledge across FI modules.
• Financial posting flow analysis and troubleshooting.
• Master data understanding (Vendor, Customer, GL Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers).
• Financial reporting and reconciliation expertise.
• Exposure to IDOCs/interfaces and finance-related integrations is desirable.
