Job summary

InFocus Technologies in Bengaluru seeks an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 3–5 years of hands-on FI/CO expertise to implement, configure, and support SAP FICO processes across modules.

You will work closely with business and technical teams, manage month-end close, and coordinate with ABAP for enhancements, ensuring smooth integration with MM and SD and delivering functional documentation and training materials.

SAP FICO CONSULTANT

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO). The candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, supporting, and enhancing SAP FICO processes while working closely with business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and support SAP FI modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
• Handle SAP CO processes including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions.
• Prepare functional specifications for required developments and coordinate with ABAP teams.
• Participate in implementation, rollout, enhancement, and production support activities.
• Perform configuration, testing, defect resolution, and documentation.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Work on integration of FICO with MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Prepare functional documentation, test scripts, and user training materials.
• Coordinate with business users, offshore/onshore teams, and other functional consultants.

Required Skills

• 35 years of relevant experience in SAP FICO.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI and CO configuration.
• Good understanding of GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, and Internal Orders.
• Experience with SAP integration with MM and SD.
• Good understanding of accounting and financial business processes.
• Experience in incident management, problem solving, and production support.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and provide functional solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Knowledge of Universal Journal / ACDOCA.
• Exposure to Fiori applications.
• Experience with SAP implementation or migration projects.
• Knowledge of integration with external banking or third-party systems.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• SAP FICO certification is an added advantage.
