Job summary

Weekday is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant in Noida to support development, implementation, enhancement and production support initiatives for SAP S/4HANA Finance.

The ideal candidate will have strong FI/CO knowledge, end-to-end finance process experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions while coordinating with ABAP developers and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years SAP FICO experience with hands-on SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Strong FI knowledge: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting.
• Strong CO knowledge: Cost Centre, Profit Centre, Internal Orders.
• Experience in configuration, enhancements, testing, and production support.
• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions and manage integrations with MM/SD.

Responsibilities

• Configure, enhance, and support SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions.
• Manage SAP FI processes including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.
• Configure and support SAP CO processes: Cost Centre, Profit Centre, Internal Orders.
• Analyse requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers and SAP technical teams for integrations.
• Participate in testing: unit, integration, UAT, regression.
• Provide production support and resolve SAP FICO incidents.
• Prepare functional specs and guide technical teams.

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance to support development, implementation, enhancement, and production support initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge across SAP FI and CO, experience with end-to-end finance processes, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions. The role requires strong analytical and troubleshooting skills along with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, ABAP developers, and SAP functional and technical teams.

Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Configure, enhance, and support SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions.
• Manage SAP FI processes covering General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.
• Configure and support SAP CO processes including Cost Centre, Profit Centre, and Internal Orders.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into appropriate SAP FICO solutions.
• Perform configuration and enhancements based on business and project requirements.
• Work on SAP FICO integration with MM and SD modules.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers and SAP technical teams for custom developments, enhancements, and integrations.
• Prepare functional specifications and provide technical teams with clear requirements and solution details.
• Participate in testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and regression testing.
• Identify, analyse, and resolve defects during development and testing phases.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot SAP FICO incidents and business-critical issues.
• Analyse root causes of production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Manage change requests, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and resolve finance-process and integration-related issues in collaboration with cross-functional SAP teams.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and business-process troubleshooting where required.
• Participate in solution design discussions and recommend improvements to existing SAP Finance processes.
• Maintain functional documentation, configuration records, testing artefacts, and support documentation.
• Communicate effectively with business users, clients, project teams, and technical stakeholders.
• Ensure SAP solutions align with business requirements, functional standards, and implementation best practices.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

• 8+ years of SAP FICO experience with strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP FI, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Candidates must be comfortable working from the Noida office five days a week.
