Job summary

Weekday AI (YC W21) in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, seeks an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong hands-on SAP S/4HANA Finance to support development, implementation, and production support initiatives. The role requires deep knowledge across SAP FI and CO, end-to-end finance processes, and collaboration with ABAP and SAP teams.

Responsibilities include configuring and supporting SAP S/4HANA Finance, GL/AP/AR/Asset/Bank Accounting, CO processes, and SAP FICO integrations with MM and SD.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP FICO experience with hands-on SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting).
• Strong experience with SAP CO (Cost Centre, Profit Centre, Internal Orders).
• Experience in SAP FICO configuration, enhancements, testing, and production support.
• Experience integrating SAP Finance with MM and SD.
• Ability to collaborate with ABAP developers and SAP technical teams.
• Prepare functional specs and provide clear requirements to technical teams.
• Participate in unit, integration, UAT, and regression testing.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot SAP FICO incidents.
• Manage change requests and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor finance-process and integration issues with cross-functional SAP teams.
• Support data validation and reconciliation.
• Engage in solution design discussions for SAP Finance processes.
• Maintain documentation and testing artefacts.
• Communicate with business users and stakeholders.

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong hands‑on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance to support development, implementation, enhancement, and production support initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge across SAP FI and CO, experience with end‑to‑end finance processes, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions. The role requires strong analytical and troubleshooting skills along with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, ABAP developers, and SAP functional and technical teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Configure, enhance, and supportSAP S/4HANA Financesolutions.
• Manage SAP FI processes coveringGeneral Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.
• Configure and support SAP CO processes includingCost Centre, Profit Centre, and Internal Orders.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into appropriate SAP FICO solutions.
• Perform configuration and enhancements based on business and project requirements.
• Work on SAP FICO integration withMM and SDmodules.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers and SAP technical teams for custom developments, enhancements, and integrations.
• Prepare functional specifications and provide technical teams with clear requirements and solution details.
• Participate in testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and regression testing.
• Identify, analyse, and resolve defects during development and testing phases.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot SAP FICO incidents and business‑critical issues.
• Analyse root causes of production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Manage change requests, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and resolve finance‑process and integration‑related issues in collaboration with cross‑functional SAP teams.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and business‑process troubleshooting where required.
• Participate in solution design discussions and recommend improvements to existing SAP Finance processes.
• Maintain functional documentation, configuration records, testing artefacts, and support documentation.
• Communicate effectively with business users, clients, project teams, and technical stakeholders.
• Ensure SAP solutions align with business requirements, functional standards, and implementation best practices.
