Job summary

Teamware Solutions Inc. in Bengaluru seeks an experienced SAP FI consultant to lead end-to-end S/4HANA Finance implementations, covering GL, AP, AR, Bank Accounting and Fixed Assets.

You will drive requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment and post-go-live support, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure robust RTR processes and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant SAP FI experience.
• End-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations.
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Bank Accounting and Fixed Assets.
• Experience in RTR processes and financial close.
• Willingness to mentor juniors and lead client workshops.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP FI implementations across GL, AP, AR, and FA.

• Coordinate with MM/SD/CO/PP/PM for integrated processes.

Job description

Key Skills: SAP FI, SAP S/4HANA Finance, Record to Report (RTR), GL, AP, AR, Bank Accounting, Fixed Assets, Finance Transformation

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in SAP FI, including full-cycle implementation projects covering General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Accounting, and Fixed Asset Accounting.
• Basic controlling as well like profit center accounting, cost center accounting, Cost element accounting
• Strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP FI configuration, intercompany transactions, financial reconciliations, and month-end and period-end closing activities.
• Experience in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Strong understanding of SAP FI integration with other modules, including MM, SD, CO, PP, and PM, ensuring seamless financial data flow across business processes.
• Ability to conduct detailed business process analysis, facilitate client workshops, gather requirements, and translate business needs into effective SAP solutions.
• Experience in providing end-to-end solutions addressing systems, people, operations, and business processes, aligned with client requirements and industry best practices.
• Proven experience in Record to Report (RTR) processes, including financial close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and financial statement preparation.
• Ability to lead finance strategy and process transformation initiatives to optimize RTR processes, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen financial controls.
• Knowledge of automation, analytics, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and AI-based solutions to enhance financial reporting accuracy, streamline reconciliations, and reduce financial close cycle timelines.
• Practical exposure to IDocs, interfaces, and integration technologies for data exchange between SAP and external systems, ensuring accurate and timely transaction processing.
• Experience in preparing functional specifications, executing SIT/UAT, resolving defects, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting business users.
• Ability to independently manage client interactions, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and deliver SAP FI solutions within project timelines.
• Experience in mentoring junior team members, providing technical and functional guidance, conducting training, and supporting knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

At least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation or rollout experience.

Experience in SAP Finance Transformation and RTR process optimization.

Exposure to financial process automation using RPA, AI, and advanced analytics.

Experience working on large-scale SAP implementation, migration, or transformation programs.

Ability to lead client workshops, manage deliverables independently, and collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
