Job summary

IT Resonance Inc is seeking an experienced R2R Architect to lead SAP FICO implementations, rollouts, and enhancements from a remote location. You will gather business requirements, design finance solutions, and integrate with MM/SD/PP while mentoring junior consultants.

Responsibilities include configuring FI/CO modules, ensuring IFRS/GAAP compliance, and driving process improvements across controlling and treasury functions. A strong focus on data migration and go-live support is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP FICO experience with configuration and customization.
• Experience with S/4HANA Finance (greenfield, brownfield, or rollout).
• Knowledge of integration with MM, SD, PP modules.
• Experience with interfaces (IDocs, APIs, EDI, CPI/PI/PO).
• GST/VAT/global tax knowledge; IFRS/GAAP familiarity.
• Exposure to Treasury and Risk Management (TRM).
• Basic ABAP debugging knowledge; SAP Fiori for Finance familiarity.

• Ensure IFRS/GAAP compliance and local regulations.
• Integrate SAP FICO with MM, SD, PP; support month-end/year-end closings.
• Handle data migration, cutover planning, and go-live support.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely solutions.
• Lead teams and mentor junior consultants; prepare specs/docs.

Work mode: Remote

R2R / Treasury Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementations, rollouts, and system enhancements.
• Gather business requirements and design finance solutions aligned with business goals.
• Configure and support core FICO modules:
• FI: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting
• CO: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Product Costing, COPA
• Drive financial process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and auditors.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP, local regulations).
• Integrate SAP FICO with:
• MM (Procurement)
• SD (Sales & Distribution)
• PP (Production Planning)
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Handle data migration, cutover planning, and go-live support
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely solutions
• Lead teams and mentor junior consultants
• Prepare functional specifications, documentation, and training materials

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in SAP FICO configuration and customization
• Hands-on experience in: Financial Closing processes Asset Accounting (New AA in S/4HANA) Product Costing & COPA (both costing-based & account-based)
• Experience with S/4HANA Finance (greenfield, brownfield, or rollout projects)
• Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP)
• Experience with interfaces (IDocs, APIs, EDI, CPI/PI/PO)
• Knowledge of e-invoicing, taxation (GST, VAT, global compliance)
• Exposure to Treasury and Risk Management (TRM)
• Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging and enhancements
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps for Finance

Additional Responsibilities: (Nice to Have)

• Knowledge of SAP Group Reporting / BPC
• Experience with S/4HANA Finance innovations (Universal Journal, ACDOCA)
• Familiarity with SAP BTP and CPI integrations
• Experience in automation tools (RPA, workflow solutions)
• Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Power BI
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
