Synthite is seeking a motivated SAP FI Consultant to join the information systems team in a manufacturing environment. You will assist in configuring, testing, and supporting SAP FI modules, focusing on GL, AP, AR, and Asset Accounting, with integration to PP/PM/CO. You will gather requirements and support month-end close while learning from senior team members.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a motivated SAP FI Consultant to join our information systems team within a leading manufacturing environment. The role involves assisting in the configuration, testing, and support of the SAP FI module, with a strong focus on supporting finance operations like general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, taxation and asset accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the configuration and maintenance of SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting).
• Understanding of integration with modules like PP, PM, PS MM and CO.
• Support end users in daily operations, including invoice processing, payments, and journal entries.
• Help gather and document business requirements from the finance team.
• Participate in SAP testing activities (unit, integration, user acceptance).
• Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Work with senior consultants and business analysts on new projects and system enhancements.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and escalat complex problems to senior team members.
• Prepare end-user guides and training documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2 to 3 years of experience with SAP FI systems (preferably SAP S4 HANA).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial business processes.
• Strong interest in SAP systems and financial technology.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a manufacturing-focused environment.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Nice to Have (Preferred but not Required):

• Internship or project experience in SAP implementations.
• Knowledge of manufacturing business processes (e.g., procurement-to-pay, production costing).
